Just say this posted on MyTreo.net by genevaguy, in the 700p forum: Like many others I ran into the extremely frustrating 700p boot loop. I tried hard, warm, soft resets... etc... etc...
Nothing worked... until I had the battery out and took the power cord and directly connected it to my treo. My treo came to life without the battery and finished booting... then I got some screen about the battery being dead. I don't know if this will help anyone else but it worked for me. It definitely beats having to get a new one from Verizon!
