I regularly keep my 680 on vibrate and use email and IM or Texting (depending on who's on the other end of the conversation) while I'm in court -- where having the telephone ring, or worse, answering it -- makes judges testy. For some reason that, in spite of 30 years as a court-covering journalist, I remain amazed that they should think because they are sitting in the high chair, they get to make the rules and be the center of attention.
