Except that format doesn't wipe the disk clean, it just resets the master directory pointers. Google "wipe hard drive". There are lots of programs out there that will actually wipe the drive clean. To wipe the C: drive, you'll probably need to boot from the Windows installation disk. Other partitions can be reformatted by right-clicking on those other drives from "My Computer" and select format.
