Here's another vote for 4cast. Not only it gets the weather and maps, 
there's a plug-in for Datebook that gives you an instant read in the 
Today view. I have mine set to refresh at 6 every morning - and when I 
go on trips, it's easy to add/delete cities to the refresh list.
