Jeff, Don't take back the card until you install and try CradleCare... I think it may solve your problem. I was experiencing the same with my 8GB SDHC card.

The card is not popping out of the slot (it actually cannot due to the case my Treo is in), but my Treo 680 is periodically losing the fact that there is a card in there. I'll get its 'card ejected' noise and the card disappears from all system info bits. I have to take the case off, open the door, physically eject the card and then re-insert it. I think I'll need to use a different brand. But since Patriot is the only one in 16G I can find, that means a smaller card. Anyone having any problems with any of the 8G SDHC cards?
