I am in the Plumbing Business and rough on Phones!  I now use one of
the Horizontal type belt clip cases.  It can be clipped to my belt or
the belt can slide through 2 loops on the back for more security.  I
have had it slip off of my belt only once in the last 6 months!

I carry my phone with the keyboard in and the speaker facing out so I
can hear the ringer better.  It works great for me!

They are available on Ebay and I went with a heavy grade leather model
with the magnetic closure.  Search for "Horizontal treo case" and you
will find plenty choices!
