I am in the Plumbing Business and rough on Phones! I now use one of the Horizontal type belt clip cases. It can be clipped to my belt or the belt can slide through 2 loops on the back for more security. I have had it slip off of my belt only once in the last 6 months!
I carry my phone with the keyboard in and the speaker facing out so I can hear the ringer better. It works great for me! They are available on Ebay and I went with a heavy grade leather model with the magnetic closure. Search for "Horizontal treo case" and you will find plenty choices!
