Thanks for providing the information. I get the impression Palm got a kick in the pants and finally realized the need to be competitive. They did some industrial design to improve the form factor and engineering to improve the price. They've provided some good components (speaker is garbage in 700P as is the volume). The real give-away that they woke up is the price, though.
Sounds like the "new device" Craig had promised us in the Spring was not such a dud after all. All those comments about the first blurry Centro pix being ugly/photoshoped fakes never rang true to me. I've always thought is looked pretty cool. The remaining issues are the OS and the screen size. Even still, Palm is outperforming anything else in shear functionality due to the great software selection. However, I am totally happy with my 700P after the last MR. 4 weeks now and I have had no problems at all. Zippy performance all the way around. I did do a reinstall of all programs from scratch and reformat of 8GB SDHC external along with the MR update though. ----------------------- Sent from my Treo(r) smartphone -----Original Message----- From: "Colin McGrath " <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, Dec 13, 2007 11:30 pm Subject: [treo] Re: [treo] Re: [Treo] AT&T not selling Treos anymore?
