I'm using 700P and only rarely do I get resets. I use a full list of IMAP
folders with push email, download Audible content daily, backup to card
daily, sync Ptunes with Napster to Go to 8 GB card, connect to my PC
remotely with Palm VNC, have 100s of contacts, to dos, categories, spell
check email.

The one thing to know, though, is that there has been a big learning curve.
I never could have done all this 6 months ago. For me, the Palm Treo is high
maintenance but with high rewards _IF_ you are able/have time to learn it.
It is knowledge based learning not intuitive, hierarchal not linear. This
forum has been an indispensible source learning and relearning for me.

Countless hours of working with the Palm Treo has armed me with advanced
computer skills and understanding in many other areas professionally and
personally.

Yes, I look back fondly on those old quirky reset days of the 700p.
Roger's solution to achieving stability is the Blackberry. Mine is the
755p or Centro.

No resets, no problems with stability. Even with Versamail syncing
email, calendar and contacts with Exchange Activesync in the background
all the time. Even with pTunes and mOcean playing music in the
background. Even with a data connection interrupting the above
temporarily when I connect my laptop via bluetooth, and even with a
phone connection interrupting the data connection termporarily when I
receive a call.

Did I mention NO RESETS, NO PROBLEMS WITH STABILITY??

Oh! And no resets and no problems with stability.

:-)

Cheers,
Don
p.s. No resets and no problems with stability. Which is to say, no
resets and no problems with stability. Get it?!?!

Aw, now, I've come to see my 700p's random resets as just a little
personality quirk.

I am still willing to trade flexibility for some stability (but not a
lot more, mind you) and there are few devices as flexible as a Palm OS
Treo (and certainly not a Bb).
