I am assuming its with sprint.  Did you get the service and repair option? 
I would try to get it taken care of at a local store using manufacterers 
warranty but if there is even the slightest sign of dropage then they will tell 
you to buy a new one.  I should know I managed a service center for 4 years.

Oh well, it would seem that my new centro has developed a cracked 
 screen. Apparently everything else is ok, for I was able to sync it to 
 the computer one last time before reverting back to my 700P I had
