I am very sad about what happened to Palmgear.? As they prepared for the change Pocketgear made it sound like it would be an improvement.? All I ever see on that site are programs for other operating systems.
However, freeware proigrams that I downloaded in the past are still available to redownload along with programs I purchased.? I just took a look at Watchmaker and it was last updated on December 13.? Wasn't that after Pocketgear took over Palmgear?? I thought the freeware programs were still somewhere on the site but that you would have to sift a bunch of useless programs to get to them? -----Original Message----- From: Carl W. Yes, Pocketgear.com took over for Palmgear.com, BUT the freeware apps are gone. Search for CutPaste5 or WatchMaker or FieldPlus on Pocketgear.com and you get nothing. So it not merely a name change. Yes, http://www.freewarepalm.com remains a great place for freeware (even though it is ridden with advertisements). We welcome new places for freeware. Thanks, I'll see you on the web! Carl W. Palmgear merely changed its name to Pocketgear, and freewarepalm.com has been around forever.
