That usually means the 700p is doing some NVFS storage system "house cleaning". It's probably flushing the cache RAM back to NVFS in order not to lose anything in case of a crash or battery failure. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't when the device crashes. It's certainly not fool proof.
