I am using the BlueAnt V-12. Great audio with my 680, Battery lasts
several days under regular use -- a few calls a day, up to about five
minutes a call. On the other hand, I've started with about 30 percent,
spent more than an hour talking with my son, and still hadn't heard the
low battery beep.
It needs an ear loop, and it comes with two -- large and small. It's
comfortable on my ear, and the speaker protrudes slightly into my ear,
which helps the audio when, say, the Jeep's not as quiet at 60 mph as
when it's sitting still.
Standing on a windy street corner is a little problematic, for me and
the person with whom I'm speaking.
It has caller ID and a vibrator. Last number redial works with the 680,
when I can remember how many times to push the correct buttons. I don't
use it much, which makes remembering the sequence more difficult, but
I've tried it and it works. You also can mute the call, if you want.
Caller ID is handy when the Treo is in a belt pouch, covered by a coat
and seatbelt. I can look at the number (it doesn't give the name - just
the number) and see whether I have to answer.
I love the vibrator function. It comes with a lanyard, but I typically
hang it from a shirt button. It's a little larger and less streamlined
looking than others, but it's size gives it a strong vibrator -- more
noticeable than the Treo's.
I have two - when one gets down to about 50 percent battery, I switch,
keeping one charged all the time.

I had a couple of Plantronics Discovery headsets. I like them a lot.
Small, streamlined, and the earpiece stayed in my ear without an ear
loop. Audio was very good. I think the 665 was slightly better, but
Plantronics claims it's the same as the 655, which was my other unit.
The most remarkable difference between them was one was black, one
silver, and one came with a pocket clip that vibrated when the earpiece
was stored in it and the phone rang, while the other had a pocket clip
with lights that glowed prettily when it was charging. Both clips made
putting the thing in my pocket very convenient.

I gave the Plantronics units to my son, who loves them, and keeps one in
his pocket/ear and the other on the charger.
I kept the V-12 (and bought the backup unit) because of the Caller ID
and the heavier vibrator.

I had a Cardo Scala 500 with my 650. I liked it a lot. Great audio, most
reliable worker with the 650, and worked as well with the 680. After
about three years it started misbehaving. Battery wouldn't keep a
charge. So I went searching, and found the two above described.
