Resco is more feature rich. It lets me have an automate (scheduled) project that backs up every 3 hours during business hours, another project that creates a full backup every night at 10:30, etc., with each project keeping its own backups separate from other projects. It also allows for encryption of backups (important if you have patient phone numbers, etc., in your data). It also provides for compression of backups to save space. BackupMan is easier to use. Provides encryption and automated backups, but no compression. At the end of the day, you'll have a single backup for that day, no matter now often you set BackupMan to schedule updating of that file. If you don't need more than one distinct generational backup set per day, Resco might be overkill. Depends on your needs. I still like to have more than one backup program running daily, in any event. I'm always afraid that when it comes to restoring a hard reset device, I might find out that this or that backup app was backing up in a corrupted fashion, or whatever. If that happens, I just restore with the other app.
