As for VersaMail on the 755p, FYI - they renamed it 'Email'. Though,
I don't have a an actually Verizon device to verify that with. I do
have a sprint one.

Versamail did not come on my Verizon Treo 755p, much to my surprise. The
unit was bundled with Verizon's miserable 'sync' application suite
(which, if you're not careful, kills synchronization with the PC
desktop!).

I had to go to mytreo or mypalm or somewhere like that via Verizon to
find the application for download. Apparently, Verizon doesn't put
Versamail in ROM on its 755p's.

Blazer (the web browser) did, but you can also try to download the IBM
Websphere Java applet for Palm and then run Opera browser for Palm, too.

Chatteremail is great and it will save to the SD card. Versamail should
be on the ROM.

Blazer works fine for most web sites, you are not going to get Flash web
sites to show up with any Palm browser.

Did you look for an app called "Web"? Try holding the "option" button
and pressing the "phone" button, this should launch the Web app.

Only way it could be gone is that the previous owner had a Custom ROM.
It is possible that the prior owner had no need for them and removed
them to gain space in RAM by adding some else in ROM.

Thanks,
I'll see you on the web!

That's very odd as they should have been on the ROM, making them
undeletable. I don't know of any email program that saves to the SD card
but they all do POP3. There are only 2 browsers to choose from, Blazer
and Opera Mini. Blazer is better. As for email, I use Versamail and am
very happy with it. Others rave about Chattermail. You'll have to
research them both and decide which one you prefer.

Thank you Sue for answering my email. For some reason most of my
email was not sent to the list.
I will try again.
I just signed up for unlimited Data for my Treo 650. I discovered
that the browser and email programs do not exist on my Treo. They have
been deleted. I need both programs on my treo. What would you
recommend as the best email program and browser program? The
recommended email program would have to save to the SD card and
download from a Pop3 server. All I need in a Browser is that it is
good and quick.
Of course the less expensive these programs are the better.
Here is hoping that ALL of this message gets to the list.

Thanks in Advance,

Tom Staggs
