Nope. At least that's the answer we came up with when I was working
through that very problem. (The thread probably is still available --
about a year ago, I think.)
Unless you can do away with html formatting. Even then ...
The problem is the message you're seeing is lots larger than you're
seeing. There is a pile of header/routing stuff that isn't being
displayed. Add to that any html and you've got a message that's way
larger than it appears -- and larger than the max you can tell Versamail
to download at one time.
And the only thing you can control is the html part -- if you can get
everyone who sends you mail to do it as straight text. Even then ...
there's still all that header stuff.
It frustrated me, too, for awhile -- then I decided it didn't really
matter because most mail I didn't need to read all of, and what I wanted
the rest of I could re-download.
