I have ZagatToGo on my Palm. That is an electronic version of the Zagat Guide, which is for dining (& sometimes more) in major cities. It is different than other guides in that reviews are the consensus of diners rather than restaurant critics.
I have L.A. Restaurants & L.A. Nightlife loaded on it. (I can easily add and delete other cities that I visit). The newest/current version (which are are forced to use: they expired the previous version) has an annoying "feature". Every time you start the program up, it logs on and downloads the latest guides you have loaded, even if your version is up to date! So, I need to wait for it to connect and download each time! I wrote a trouble ticket to Handmark. Their reply was: That is the way this version works. Duh! I'll try again, but this looks like it will be uphill. Paul, frustrated in L.A.
