Yes, that happened to me right after I visited my parents for Easter. They are on an edge of Sprint coverage area. So, at times, I was roaming. After I returned home, my signal strength was lower and the battery was chewing itself up quite quickly. I ended up doing a hard reset on my 700p and restoring it with a backup that I took of it before I traveled to my parents' house. After doing that, it was fine. So, have you been roaming recently?
