I've never had a problem with Chatter. 4Cast, on the other hand, gave me some major stability problems. Which is odd for an shsh production. So what I'm guessing is there's something to do with the order things are installed/used and maybe just the way parts of certain programs play with parts of other programs. My 680 is unlocked, unbranded AND custom ROM'd, and I don't have Versamail, which could also have something to do with why Chatter does so well on my Treo but not on others. Anyway, just some thoughts. I didn't have all the problems with Versamail I'd seen many others write about. Just lucky, probably, but it worked out because I like Chatter better. But in the end, it's the person on the keyboard has to be happy, so there. =)
