I awoke this morning to find that my unattended BackupMan had hung
(for the second time in a week) and my Treo 755p was fully charged,
but hung up, requiring battery removal. Upon reset, the Class 4 4GB
Kingston SD card was no longer recognized. When I inserted a
different SD card, that wasn't recognized either.

I did one more battery removal reset, and inserted the OTHER SD card
which *was* recognized, as were other cards, but when I re-inserted
the card on which the backup had hung, once again the Treo failed to
recognize it, or any other SD card.

When I brought the card in to try to be read on my PC with a reader,
the PC recognized the insertion of the reader, but saw no flash
memory. When I tried it in a Palm T|X, the PDA didn't recognize it
either.

I've already put an inquiry into Kingston (as this card is less than 5
months old), but can anyone think of anything else? Isn't what I've
basically got a hosed card?

Thanks,

Harold
