I recently switched my work computer from a workgroup to a domain. I now login with my Domain ID. As a result my Palm Desktop software doesn't work correctly. I copied the registry entries from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics to my new profile.
The symptom is the Palm Desktop splash screen comes up, and stays there. It never proceeds. If I right click on the shortcut and do a "Run As..." my old profile it works fine. So it seems likely its a rights issue. Anybody know how to fix this without reinstalling software? -- Scott W.
