This has happened to me if I reset my treo (or if it resets itself) just as a 
message comes in.

Apparently the messages land in the SIM first and then are transferred to the 
treo.

When it resets, it finds the message in the SIM and offers to grab it.

Nope.  At no time did my SIM leave my Treo.

Well, a few weeks ago it spent almost a full day in an AT&T Tilt.  But the txt 
in question was newly received.
