I typically backup my 755p every night to an SD card using BackupMan (and NVBackup). While NV Backup didn't encounter this issue, I would find entries in the BackupMan error logs pointing to Shim Logs from time to time as well. I was instructed (I *think*, don't hold me to this) by BitsnBolts support to turn off the 'backup' bit using FileMan or Filez on the file ShimLogs. Since I did that, I haven't had any issues. Note, I wasn't encountering any issues with IR, except that every once in a while, my Treo couldn't find the IR keyboard. Harold
