I was using DateBk5 on my E and CES had a free patch to make it work on my then new Treo 700P, but the upgrade is (or was at the time) $11 USD. Kind of hard to go wrong with that price. I don't know how the V5 patch worked, so I can't compare. But the V6 works quite well without graffiti or using the touch screen at all (but of course can use then readily especially if you install a graffiti clone).
