You need to clarify exactly what you're trying to do. Are you wanting to "synchronize" as in have your email data transfered over via hotsync? Or do you want to "synchronize" by being able to read the same email on both your desktop and Palm by checking for mail with one or the other? If the former, you probably would need to use Outlook for email on the desktop.
