That is completely consistent with my experience a few weeks ago when my prior 755p died the ASOD. VZW had absolutely NO 755p's in the supply stream, none in any local stores, none in the warehouse, no idea when any would ship. They offered to replace the phone with another type of phone (or downgrade to the WinMobile version). I tried to explain that there wasn't any such thing as an 'equivalent' phone to the 755p. The Centro is as close as it comes, and it would make sense that VZW, which usually only carries one Palm OS based smartphone at a time, would drop one to pick up the other.
