Not sure what program you can use for a Mac, but Sprint doesn't (or at 
least in the past hasn't) care about your tethering with apps like 
Pdanet or Usbmodem as long as you don't go crazy. For occasional laptop 
use it's probably still less than some people use on their handhelds!
