I loaded the new one on my treo yesterday.
Some quick things I noticed:
* They changed the menu structure - before, it said "Find
Location..." and "Find Nearby Business..." - not it just says
"Search...".
* There's a new menu item "My Location". When I tried it (on my
AT&T Treo 680), it said "this only works on the Palm Centro".
Interesting, since the My Location program (from razix.com) works
on my 680...
* Says it has Transit, but for some strange reason, it doesn't
include New York City.
* When you do a search, the resulting dialog now shows links for
"directions to/from here" and "search nearby".
* When you get directions, it includes all of the directions in the
results dialing, with buttons for "Show" and "Copy".
Seems like a decent incremental upgrade...
