Again - I thought the same thing when I got a Motorola q. It wasn't until I got this 700w of ebay that I realized what I was missing. No, not as easy as palmos for some things, but nowhere as frustrating as the Q.

I left my Treo 650 for an att tilt, and even after 6 months of hacking, burning custom roms, trying different software, it just sucks. It is a neat toy, in the same way that a windows pc is a neat toy. It'll to just about anything, but not easily. And, its very weakest function is that of PHONE. Slow, tedious, many button pushes to make a call. Craig, you mentioned nothing but outlook to synch with winmob: Not so, I use time + chaos pim. http://www.chaossoftware.com/chaos.asp I sync through companionlink: http://www.companionlink.com/products/companionlinkfortimeandchaos.html I'm not totally sure, but I think this can be configured to synch just about anything to anything. >...loathing of Outlook makes considering WM untenable, as there's no other >desktop PIM app to sync with. Having said all that, my tilt is just painful. I completely underestimated the weight to put on it when you guys all said winmob is clunky. That does not begin to state it. I am not sure just what I will replace this thing with, but its days are numbered. I am actually tempted to get a simple little phone, that is nothing but a phone, but with att 3g capability, and blue tooth it to my palm t3. A step backward, but maybe not. When I just need a phone, there it is. When I need all the bells, slip the pda in my pocket too...and it is one that I like.
