Apropos of that, I was mentioning to a client, who is head of IT for a local university how remarkable I thought it was that my Zune plays AAC's but my Sansa does not. He said, "Of course, Microsoft has a vested interest in keeping Apple going." I have heard the perpetual loss observation made about jpg's as well. And, to get it back to topic, if only someone had a 'vested interest' in keeping Palm going (besides Palm devotees). Incidentally, I've noticed that iambic's activity level on Agendus appears to have slowed. Why would anyone who is seriously considering a Pre (or whatever comes out in a few months) spend any money at all to upgrade a Garnet-based application? Is it possible that while galvanizing the Palm community with last week's announcement, they basically decimated the ranks of Garnet developers by punching their lunch ticket? Harold
