Do they use a MAC address? I don't own a Windows computer, and I borrowed a laptop from work to load my music when I first got my iTouch. Before returning it, I removed iTunes and deleted my user profile.
Then I installed it on my one work PC with Windows. I took a 120 GB drive from a dead laptop and popped it into a USB powered enclosure (no external power converter to carry around, it is the size and shape of a 1940s cigarette case) and use that is my iTunes library on my work computer. I use it to transport my songs from my full collection at home. My question is, can I reinstall iTunes on that same borrowed laptop in order to de-authorize it? Should work if they go bt MAC address, right?
