I've been using a Palm OS device for the last nine years and I've
gotten pretty dependent on my core applications: bonsai, daynotes,
handyshopper, Pocket Quicken. (and wwcalc when I was on weight
watchers). I could migrate to a different set of applications but I'd
really hate to have to start over, and I definitely want a list
manager, an outliner with todo links, etc.

Over time I've registered and paid for a bunch of applications and
games, too, and it would be hard to have to buy a whole new set at
once. Bonsai, Daynotes, Pocket Quicken, Chess Tiger, BackupBuddy,
Documents to Go, and a whole big handful of games, as well as a nice
accumulation of freeware..
(I've also registered a few I am not using any more, like Datebook Pro
and Shadow Plan)

so my plan is to stay with Palm OS as long as possible. It suits my
needs. I am a heavy PC user and Palm OS apps are very well suited to
be accessories to a PC.
