FYI, most Sprint stores are selling their actually stock to NEW customers on Sat. Existing customers can order them, but they will be shipped out on 3-Day Business Delivery. Not sure about BB and WM

Most stores have "a couple" If I were Palm/Sprint, and had limited supply, I'd probably concentrate the supply in "real" Sprint stores, too, but if I were a large authorized reseller (BB, RS and Walmart), I might have hard feelings. Side note: nobody here in Colorado seems to have the Touchstone charger. Local Sprint rep said they're 100% backordered. Dumb decision by Palm, if it WAS a decision, since the impulse buy of the Touchstone might make up most of the purchases, once everyone fully gets that the thing will charge just fine from a microUSB cord. Unfortunately, my reply has YET AGAIN failed to appear promptly here in this list. Last time this happened, which was just a couple of days ago, it took like a day and a half for my message to get through. The message headers indicated that it was stuck between two Yahoo servers for over a day! Looks like the same thing is happening with my most recent reply, so I will retype it below via the Yahoo web interface. Right. I have read that Best Buy, Radio Shack and others will have limited supply of Palm Pre handsets. Actual Sprint stores will get the bulk of the first shipment(s). Not sure if that is true, anyone know for sure? So, anyway, I will also be standing in line bright and early on Saturday morning at the Sprint store of my choice (there are multiple to choose from in my area). Hopefully I get my hands on one! --- Michael --- In [email protected] <mailto:treo%40yahoogroups.com> <mailto:treo%40yahoogroups.com> , "Don Ferguson" <d...@...> wrote: > > Turns out the pre-pay option was the idea of an enthusiastic Sprint store > here.
