I LOVE IT!
It's a very cool device, and everyone will want one! It makes the Curve look big and klunky in the same way the Curve makes all prior Palms except the Centro look big and klunky. Nicely done Palm. The iPhone will look old-fashioned in comparison. A few initial things: Set up Exchange sync and all of my stuff flooded down in a few minutes - email, contacts, calendar, AND TASKS! Haven't' looked to see how much calendar or how many emails. Not sure if secondary contact folders can sync down. It would be nice if memos sync'd, but I think that's not a function of Microsoft Direct Push, though. Bluetooth pairing worked perfectly. EVDO data is having trouble hanging on to a strong enough signal sitting at my desk; Curve always has a strong enough signal. The Pre has wifi, though! Have to watch this. More at some point - tired, and busy, but the Pre is in my pocket! OH, one more things; Neither the Sprint microUSB car charge nor my Motorola microUSB wall charger works. The Pre just ignores them. Not sure what's up with that. The supplied charger works fine, as did a (not sure of the brand) one in the store. Need to follow up on that. . .
