I just use the software that came with my Centro. Are you using the button on the Centro screen to sync? Is there a setting in your sync software of choice to make it the default? Chuck

Everything seems to be set up correctly, the Centro and my PC see each other and have been paired but I have run into a problem though when trying to perform the first BT hot sync. When I push the HotSync button I get a pop-up over the BT icon in the system tray that says it is connecting to ActiveSync service in this computer Com4. I do not want to use ActiveSync. I tried to change the settings on my PC by going to HotSync settings Setup|Local tab|selecting serial port Com5 and then Local on the Hot Sync pop-up menu. I double checked my BT configuration settings and it does show Bluetooth Serial Port as Com5. I am wondering if I did not create the virtual serial port correctly since I could not find any directions on how to do that and kind of muddled my way through it. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the BT to sync to Com5 instead of Com4 ActiveSync? > __________________________________________________________ > 1a.
