Good as the Treo Pro is, and yes it IS a good phone... It pales compared to
the power of the Dark Side. (LOL). I'm really liking me Palm Pre, which is
Palm's newest with a new os called Web-os. Web-os uses Linux, HTML, CSS, and
Javascript to do everything.
Granted that it's very new, but it has great potential. PalmOS with the flair
of the iPhone if you will.

I was reluctant to move away from the Palm OS when my Treo 680 died, but
I took the plunge with a Treo Pro after a frustrating trial run with a
Nokia E71. I love this Treo Pro, as once you tailor it with a couple of
favorite apps, such as the SPB shell, it is, IMHO, the best all around
smart phone on the market. It does everything I ask it to without any
problem, and it almost never crashes. With the SPB shell, it looks and
performs in some respects just like my wife's iPhone, but it is capable
of much more than the IPhone. Although the Outlook calendar pales in
comparison to the Beyond Contacts program that I was used to, it is a
small price to pay for all of the other capabilities of this phone. It
syncs seamlessly with my computer, enables me to use push e-mail, and
has a ton of third party apps that can be used. Probably the single
biggest improvement over the Treo OS that I was used to using (having
used in sucession the Treo 90, 600, 650 & 680) is how rock solid this
phone is. Take the plunge, you will not regret it.
