[Treo] Changing email

I've been weaning myself of Comcast, going with my own domain 
name/email. Trouble is, I'm signed onto this and a couple other forums  
as jmesse...@comcast.net
     If I change that at Yahoo, will it mean having to de- and re-join 
the forum? Or will it simply allow me to be the other email.
