What different thing happens after you "plug in the hotsync cable, connect
it to a computer and let it hotsync one time"? You say except when you do
that, but you don't describe the exception.

You haven't described what you've tried already to resolve this, but I would
try these things, in this order:

1.. Soft reset.

2.. Hard reset.

3.. Repair or replacement of the unit.

It sounds like either software or hardware corruption to me, and those steps
go from gentlest to most drastic. Back things up before #2 or #3, of
course.

Cheers,

Don

Subject: [Treo] Treo Centro Hotsync Loop

My Treo Centro keeps on trying to hotsync, except when I plug in the hotsync
cable, connect it to a computer and let it hotsync one time. I am assuming
that some key is stuck, I have tried cleaning all connections, but nothing
helps except for plugging in the hotsync cable. Now it just got worse, when
I try to turn on the phone after the hotsync it just reboots. All help would
be greatly appreciated.
