So I guess I'll do some more reading about future Android vs immediate
Pre. If I go with Android, will you guys still allow me to be here ? ;-)
Seriously, though, the set of responses I just got were helpful.
A2 might play better on newer hardware. Pre, I've been noting (it's much
of what has me in this thought process at all) seems to be pretty nice
now. And Sprint seems to be making people happy. Good info, all.
So here's my thing. I'm interested in getting away from WM and
into Pre/Android that's designed to work in the cloud. I'm also looking
to cut my monthly bill, something AT&T seems uninterested in doing.
Those two desires form a synergy to get me seriously into this conversation.
Add in Sprint will pay up to $125 of the early disconnect fee for
each of the three lines I need to move, BUT I need to do it by Jan. 31.
Add in the part about every time something bleeding edge is ready for
sale, there's something better just peeking over the horizon.
Financially, the time is in the next week or so.
There's also the part about if I go with Pre now, and a new A2
Hero (or similar) comes out within 30 days, I can return the Pre to try
the other.
OTOH, after a couple weeks of the Pre, probably I won't want to
switch. And if the Pre can work as a USB drive to the PC, maybe I won't
miss the missing SD card. Most of my other questions have been answered.
Not to be discounted is I've grown used to you folks over the past
several years, and I know I'll get, and eventually may be able to give,
aid with WebOS/Pre.
Gotta stop at the Sprint office in a bit with a couple more
questions for him. I'll letcha'll know how it works out.
