It's one of the few AC-to-USB charge adapters I've seen that provides the full 1 Amp of power that the Pre (and I presume the Pixi) needs to charge quickly. It's also only $17, which makes it both cheaper and smaller than Palm's unit (http://is.gd/6Y5hG). Granted, you have to provide the USB-to-microUSB cable, but who doesn't already have one of those laying around?? ;-) - Craig
