Okay, I've decided for the moment to use Chapura's Pocket Mirror to sync my
old Palm PIM data between the Pre and Outlook 2007. (I want to use this app
because it supports Memos categories and syncs via wi-fi.)

Here's my question:

My Palm PIM data currently resides in two places:
1. Palm Desktop on a Vista PC
2. Treo 700p that syncs with the desktop in "1" above.

I've decided to start ditch Palm Desktop and start syncing with Outlook 2007
instead, so what steps should I take for doing all this? Here's my
thoughts. Please point out any problems you may notice.

- On the PC, set the Palm hotsync conduit to Outlook 2007 instead of Palm
Desktop.
- Sync the Treo 700p with Outlook for the first time so the handheld data
get loaded into Outlook.
- Check the data in Outlook to be sure everything looks OK.
- Install the Chapura Pocket Mirror software on the PC and the Pre.
- Sync the Pre to Outlook using Pocket Mirror.

Does this sound like a logical strategy? I'd really like someone to confirm
this because I'm really nervous about messing up 11 years worth of Palm
data, especially my 1092 memos that I need to keep separated into 6
categories. :-)
