I've been wallowing in alligators the past couple days, but in the
interests of adding some votes from a newbie, in no particular order,
and not counting, I hope, hardware changes:
1. Ability to create additional launcher pages on which I'd place some
of my Launchpoint icons. The only things I still envy on the Hero are
the landscape virtual keyboard and the seven launcher screens.
2. Landscape view for email and other documents.
3. Ability to assign keyboard shortcuts to launch apps. Probably don't
need a lot of them, but it would be nice to have a quicker way to get
between the most-used apps.
4. Flash on web pages. I can't watch my own newspaper's online video.
5. Camera zoom. Yes, I can accomplish almost the same thing in
Photoshop, except the quality is much better when the camera does it.
6. Bluetooth needs better range. If I leave my Plantronics Discovery 665
in one room and walk to another with the phone, I too often have to
manually get into bluetooth and tell it to reconnect. It does, but it
should happen automatically, or not lose connection in the first place.
7. Ability to set the reminder in minutes, hours AND days. I need to set
an event for an assignment deadline, and have it start reminding me
several days before it's actually due.
8. Search in all contact fields, as well as ability to search the
calendar. Sometimes the person I'm looking for is in a note rather than
its own contact card, and sometimes I want to know the date of the
flight to NOLA.
9. Make birthdays and anniversaries show in the calendar, and allow a
reminder period in days (so I remember to buy a card before the day).
10. I'd like to be able to create folders/categories for my photos, with
an option to View All or View (specific folder/category).
