It worked for me last year. Back in the MyTether 1.x timeframe, I had my Pre attached to my Ubuntu desktop for recharging, using a full USB cable. To my surprise, I found that the default route had changed to use the USB interface. However, it wasn't optimal for me, so I disabled MyTether USB and haven't tried it recently. (I haven't had need to futz MyTether since the WebOS 1.3 update, and the current MyTether 2.1.0 update just spins forever while it is "unpatching" my Pre. Someday, I'll get it working again). Romain
