I love Evernote for notekeeping. I can, for instance, list the details
of an assignment; e.g. potential contacts and phone numbers, story
length, drop dead date - and I assign a "Deadlines" tag to them. By
clicking the tag, I get to see all the outstanding assignments (I delete
them when they're done.)
But I would like something that shows up on the calendar at some
preset time - say, 7 days ahead - and reminds me of the impending
deadline. I sort of get that by setting an alarm on a calendar event,
but it's not quite as elegant as I'd like.
