Perhaps we're not all using the same terminology. The "Launcher" consists of 3 pages full of app icons. You can flick left and right to change among the 3 pages. There's also the Quick Launch ribbon bar at the bottom. Perhaps John is wanting the tasks icon to appear in the quick launch ribbon?
