TreoI'm 53. I agree with all the other's comments re age. It can't possibly be that I am getting stupider as time goes by. Absolutely any explanation but that one!
I prefer to think of it as smarter, busier, less willing to waste time, in clear realization that nobody is impressed by what gizmos I use or don't use. And, as I said in my original post, the essential improvements, for me, came over 10 years ago. Do I wish my 680 had 3G speeds on a GSM network? Sure. Is it important? No. Not saying that some of the newer features don't meet a need for somebody...just that they are not universal...whereas, the ability to keep a calendar and address book, was found handy by many people. Yet, In my dental practice, where I treat a wide assortment of folks, I am surprised at the wide variety of methods people use to keep such info organized. Some whip out their pda while they are in the chair, and enter their next visit. A roughly equal number seem to say they will call me when they get back to work, their calendar is in the office (I don't know what % of them actually do so, or if they are just blowing me off)., a HUGE chunk clearly have NO means of organizing their life, and it shows in how they manage their appointment commitments...frequently changing, forgetting, etc. So, horses for courses, I guess that is the bottom line.
