I checked this after installing the 1.4 update (VZW).  There is no change at
all in how the Pre handles attachments.  Contrary to what was stated (see
below), there was no automatic opening of attached image files.

In reviewing Sprint's Feature Changes list for the webOS 1.4 update, I

I don't think I'd necessarily want that to happen with certain attachments
in a public place!!!  I want to control if and when I open an attachment.  

Can someone with a Sprint Pre confirm if attachments really open
