Scratch that...it works. Turned out that the webpage that I copied the photo from must have had the photo in a format that isn't recognized by the Pre. (Yeesh...wha are the odds of that?
I tried another webpage and it downloaded into a Miscellaneous folder. I apologize for the false alarm and extra bandwidth.
