OK, I`ve `fiddled around so much with my Pre over the 4 months that I`ve
had it that I`ve reached the stage where I`m getting
downloads/installations failing.

:-(

So, I think that it is probably time to do a full reset and start again
carefully (applying what I`ve learnt to date and doing things in the
right order and dumping the rubbish). It will then be ready for a clean
update to webOS1.4 which must be getting very close?

The questions are therefore:-

1. What is the best way to do a full (back to factory settings) reset?

2. What do I `lose` - (all apps, I assume), what about things like my
own data, contacts, calendar, etc?

I already backup what I can via USB drive function. I assume that as
soon as I add my GoogleMail address my calendar and contacts come back?

3. Does my WebOS go back to 1.03 or whatever I started with or will it
remember that I am currently up to WebOS 1.3.5.2?

4. Any other (painfully) acquired experience/advice would be appreciated
before I commit?

:-)

Thanks guys.
