I agree with the first part. (I'll agree with the 2nd part when I get to
it.) Often when I've had an email telling me someone said something on
my wall or status, the only way to find it is to follow the link - and
even that doesn't always work.
As for the 2nd: I like them both. Twitter for just getting notices
when I'm actually at my desk; I've found the Pre gets cluttered during a
normal day. FB, on the other hand, I liken to a living room full of
friends who never go home, or who come back at really odd times. It's a
lot easier to have a conversation on FB, and if you want to whisper, you
can send a message rather than write on the wall.
I've not installed FB on my Pre yet. Probably later today. I saw
the tweets about the new app - led me to believe there was only one,
until George asked which one I was using.
