I don't know how secure you might consider it, but how about using Microsoft
Live  Mesh? I  would think you could place the encrypted data file for
whatever program you are using on the desktops in the Live Mesh Desktop and
then it would always be synced among the computers.  I use this for a few
databases and use 3 different PC's.  Whenever I make changes to a database
on one PC, it is automatically updated  on the others as soon as they have
Internet connection.  The program is free and works very well for my
purposes.
